Best Montreal Hotel For Skiing

Does anyone have an opinion about which Montreal hotel is the best to stay in to get back and forth to nearby ski resorts?

We'd like to ski some days but tour Montreal on other days.

Also, I have kids and a dog so those are issues as well. Any ideas? Thanks.
